Hi, I'm Morgan.

I attended East-West Healing Arts Institute in Madison, following my education at Marquette University studying Psychology & Social Work.

I was drawn into the world of healing and bodywork after going through my own journey of 2 ACL replacement surgeries in my teens. Since then, I’ve been interested in how the body functions and how it can heal (on its own and with some help).

Who am I as a provider and person?

As a provider, my goals are your goals -whether that is improved mobility, decreasing pain, nervous system regulation, or finally getting that stubborn knot worked out.

It’s important to me that you feel heard, cared for and safe throughout your session. I encourage communication! Let me know what feels okay, if the pressure is too much or if the spot I’m touching on your shoulder makes your hands tingle. It’s all helpful feedback to know what your body may be asking for.

I consider myself “whole story” oriented. I’m interested not only in how you show up physically to the session, but how’s life? How’s your stress? How are you mentally and emotionally? We can’t separate the body from the mind, so I find it’s important to check in and listen to anything you want to share (the psych major in me can’t help it).

Outside of work, I’m an active gym girly and enjoy spending time with friends and family! I’m a Wisconsinite born and raised and enjoy spending time at whatever events are happening around the city (I love a good farmer’s market morning). I also enjoy travelling and spent a month in Costa Rica last year! Broadening my horizons is a non-negotiable and I love to learn about everything.

Who do I help?

I really enjoy supporting clients who:

  • have specific pain patterns or chronic pain in specific areas

  • athletes or people who live an active lifestyle (as gym girly and amateur runner, I’m sure I’ve been sore exactly where you are)

  • people who are looking for more therapeutic massage - think deep tissue, guided stretching, active release techniques, cupping, gua sha, etc.

  • people who have had a surgery and want help getting their range of motion back or breaking up scar tissue

  • people with knee pain (I probably know exactly where you are sore because so am I & this is my super power)

How do I help?

Being trained in both Eastern and Western modalities, I like to blend techniques such as cupping, gua sha, myofascial release and active release therapy to provide relief in multiple ways. I like to incorporate essential oils as well as topicals to assist in your systemic healing.

I also have some experience with buccal massage (massaging the muscles inside of your mouth - yes those can get knots too!) working with people who have jaw or TMJ issues or perhaps chronic tension headaches. (read more about Intra-Oral Massage here)

I’m looking forward to working with you and being a part of your self care team!
